This paper examines the Information Transfer Process in regards to World War II history. I was able to gain a better understanding of how the immense amount of WWII information is created, disseminated, organized, diffused, utilized, and preserved. As a student of history and librarian, I found it incredibly valuable to understand this process, as it permits me to more effectively evaluate historical sources. If I know how the information should cycle through the process, I can more easily identify if there is an issue with a certain sources. For example, if I know that the information was not disseminated in a reputable journal, I might judge it with more caution.
